Awards and Accolades

The CAFNR Office of Research recently recognized 10 faculty members, including three Plant Sciences faculty members, as Drivers of Distinction.
Three IPG Faculty were listed among 2020 Highly Cited Researchers.
Mandy Bish, Extension specialist in the Division of Plant Sciences, was recognized at the 2020 North Central Weed Science Society annual meeting with a Distinguished Achievement Research award.
Kevin Bradley, professor in the Division of Plant Sciences, was recognized as a North Central Weed Science Society Fellow at the 2020 NCWSS annual meeting.
Felix Fritschi, C. Alice Donaldson Professor in Bioenergy Crop Physiology and Genetics in the Division of Plant Sciences, received the Distinguished Research Award during CAFNR’s 2020 virtual Celebration of Excellence awards celebration.
David Braun, professor of plant and biological sciences, and Robert Sharp, Curators' Distinguished Professor in Plant Sciences, were among CAFNR faculty and alumni recognized by Mizzou Alumni Association.
Felix Fritschi was elected as a 2020 Fellow of the American Society of Agronomy.
Henry Nguyen, professor in the Division of Plant Sciences, was named the editor of The Plant Genome.
Michelle Brooks, greenhouse coordinator in plant sciences, was awarded the Chancellor’s Outstanding Staff Award in the Technical/Paraprofessional category.
