'69 J-School Grad Wins Tickets to MU-KU Game
Thank you to everyone who had some fun and entered the Why I'm Not a Jayhawk contest.
Select reasons will be posted in an online gallery next week.
The contest (below) is now closed.
Congratulations to 1969 journalism grad Jack E. Kinney Jr., who won the tickets. More than 2,700 alumni, students and Tiger fans participated in the ticket giveaway.
Jack's reasons for not being a Jayhawk:
Reason 1: My late uncle Bob taught me that the best school in the world for a Missourian is the University of Missouri.
Reason 2: Tiger or some goofy bird... you choose.
Reason 3: Norm Stewart would not let his teams eat or sleep in Kansas. Whatever Stormin' Norman says is good enough for me.
