Celebrate International Mother Language Day!

Today is International Mother Language Day — a reminder to acknowledge the diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds that exist worldwide. It is an occasion to recognize the importance of preserving and promoting every language. Language activists, including those in Bangladesh, have made great sacrifices to maintain their mother tongue's culture and linguistic heritage. The Bangladesh Student Association has taken a leadership role this year to spread awareness of International Mother Language Day at Mizzou. BSA's efforts have focused on promoting linguistic diversity and inclusivity at Mizzou and around the globe. Watch this video celebrating International Mother Language Day!
